Terms & Conditions
A clear, plain-language agreement between you and Ima Quran. By using the app or this website, you agree to these terms.
Last updated: May 13, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ima Quran mobile applications and the website at imaquran.app (together, the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Purpose of the Service
Ima Quran is an educational and devotional tool that helps users memorize the Qur’an one ayah at a time, alongside translation and meaning. The Service is intended to support — not replace — learning with a qualified teacher, scholar, or community. We encourage users to seek guidance from knowledgeable instructors for matters of recitation, tajweed, and interpretation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- Please provide accurate information and update it as needed. You may close your account at any time as described in our account deletion page.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data, or to interfere with the integrity or security of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service except as permitted by law.
- Use the Service to disrespect the Qur’an, harass others, or promote harmful content.
- Resell, rebrand, or commercially redistribute the Service without our written permission.
4. Intellectual property
The Service — including its design, code, written content, audio, and visual elements — is owned by Ima Quran or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. The Arabic text of the Qur’an is not owned by us; translations and supporting content are provided under their respective licenses, and we credit sources within the app where applicable.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial study and memorization.
5. User content
Where the Service allows you to submit content (for example, personal notes or support messages), you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You are responsible for what you submit and confirm you have the rights to do so.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Some features of the Service may be offered as paid purchases or subscriptions through the App Store, Google Play, or another authorized channel. Pricing, billing, renewal, and refund terms are governed by the applicable store, in addition to these Terms. Please review your purchase and subscription settings within your store account.
7. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the Service reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or terminate access to the Service or any part of it — including for maintenance, security, or compliance reasons — with reasonable notice when feasible.
8. Third-party services
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (such as app stores or sign-in providers). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties. Their terms apply to your use of their services.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet every user’s needs.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ima Quran and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if continued use would create a legal or security risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ima Quran is established, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except where applicable consumer protection laws of your residence provide otherwise.
