We aim to collect only what we need to provide a focused, useful memorization experience.

• Account information. If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication details (such as a sign-in with Apple identifier or a hashed password).
• Learning and progress data. Ayat you’ve started, completed, or reviewed; exercise responses; recall accuracy; and your current position so you can pick up where you left off.
• Streak and activity data. Daily session timestamps and streak counts used to display your progress.
• Device and diagnostic data. Basic information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and crash or performance diagnostics, when applicable.
• Support communications. If you contact us, we keep your messages and contact details to respond and improve the Service.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information, and we do not require precise location data to use Ima Quran.

How we use your information

• To provide core features like lessons, exercises, and reviews.
• To personalize your learning — for example, surfacing the right ayah at the right time and adjusting review intervals based on your recall.
• To maintain streaks and progress across your devices.
• To diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability and quality of the Service.
• To respond to your support requests, legal obligations, and security concerns.

How your data is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:

• Service providers. Trusted vendors that help us run the Service (such as cloud hosting, authentication, analytics, or crash reporting), under contracts that require them to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, the public, or Ima Quran.
